A walk with the locals resonates with you

Walking with us in San Lorenzo Dorsino isn’t a walking tour. After all, we Greeters aren’t guides. We’re pensioners, housewives, and teachers.

Walk with us and we’ll show you where we played hide and seek as children, the walls we climbed to go and pick blackberries, the alleys and benches where the local grandmothers met to crochet.
One of the villagers we meet may even offer us a cup of coffee, open the doors to their home museum, and show us their vegetable patch.

No two walks are the same. We take turns to walk with you but it’s your questions, passions, and interests that shape our conversations.

Just like all other Greeters in the world, we’re volunteers. This is our way of taking care of the village, ensuring the title of “I Borghi più belli d’Italia” doesn’t just mean the prettiest building and streets, but also includes its people: the councillors, the locals, and the tourists.
