We’re the home of people who’ve stayed, left, and arrived recently.
Some people have always lived here and have raised a family, contributing to the village life by volunteering with the Alpini, fire brigade, and local tourist office. Many sing in the choir.
Many left looking for fame and fortune, but return to their family home every year with their children and grandchildren. Their origins mean a lot to them, so much so they’ve even donated money to renovate the small San Tommaso church.
Holiday-goers have fallen in love with Cavedago, and sometimes bought a flat in one of the nine groupings of ancient farms and their estates, spending their holidays and weekends here.
During summer, we all meet in the main square in the evenings. We play tombola, all the children play together, we bake our “potato cake” – whose recipe you always ask us to teach you.
